~DA family: Army of lovers~

On a quiet, sunny day…
Jareth, Hans' and Akabane wandered in through the door, the key under the mat always meant for them encase one of the girls was late home or they needed to fetch the things they'd left there the previous night.
"Thanks for the lift, it was lucky I saw you guys from the street." Hans' removed his boots whilst the other two kicked there' off easily.
"Don't mention it," Akabane' voice went down an octave, "no really. If Jess knows I hung out with Jareth, she'd actually die my underwear pink."
"So that's where Hana learnt it from! I thought she'd actually been practising on 'Mr Sparkle'." Hans' whispered back, finally realising where his girlfriends pranks had come from.
"I can hear you two." Jareth said from the opposite side of the room, the two knowing he was frowning without seeing his face.
"We know, we just don't care." Akabane chuckled and sat down with a book in one hand and contemplating the title.
"Oh, Kat' made another batch of cookies." Jareth arched his brow, choosing to ignore the comment (and genuinely more happy with the cookies) and wandered straight over to the tray, picking up the chocolate confectionary in his hand and giving it a whole-hearted bite.
"I'm not going to hide you when she comes to beat you up, I hope you realise?" Akabane just shook his head in disapproval and immediately searched his bag for the book he'd found for Jess.
"There must be a reason she baked them. Even I know Alex couldn't eat ALL of them, and she has explained in the past that if you don't get there first, you don't get there at all. I'm sure Alex won't mind either." Jareth just shrugged and gently threw Akabane a cookie.
Akabane sighed as he caught it easily in his hand and shook his head again, this time, knowing he'd get an earful from Jessica for agreeing with Jareth. Not that he'd tell her that. He took a small bite and watched as Hans' seemed to admire his for a little bit, sniffing it as if noticing something for the first time.
"They smell a little different than usual…might be cinnamon or something." Hans' took a large mouthful and nodded in approval before swallowing and finishing the sweet in two bites (Hana always said he had a great appetite).
"They do had a different taste, you're right about that." Jareth took the armchair and quickly finished another cookie, just encase Kat came down and scolded them.

Half an hour ago…
"Coming home to Wuthering, wuthering, wuthering Heights!" Kat sang at the top of her lungs as she stirred briskly with the whisk in one hand, making sure the mix was stirred thoroughly.
She was taking advantage of the situation that she was all alone in the household and glad for her 'me' time. Because she had been planning to do something special for a while and new if she got caught doing it, she wouldn't be able to live down the teasing.
She had found an old recipe someone had given her and decided this was the best time to test it out on Alex (who, when he knew what was happening, would surely be a willing test subject).
She smiled to herself as she imagined him happily wolfing down well over half of the cookies she was making and the side effects he would get. One of which being her getting well and thoroughly smooched, exhausted and leaving a lot of explaining to do to her sister' as to why there was so much mess in the kitchen.
What Kat didn't know, was that she'd misplaced a vital ingredient in the mix and when substituting it with a similar one, she'd made a completely different batch of cookies. In her arms, in the mix, was a bowl of pre-made 'love' cookies. Neither did she count on sticky fingered people turning up and eating them beforehand.

A little while later…
Mandy sighed as she reached the front door. Struggling with her keys, she carefully balanced a full folder or paperwork on one arm and tentatively placed the key in the lock, before turning it quickly and grabbing the folder before it lost balance. She gently kicked the door the rest of the way open and walked inside, not altogether surprised by the three males sitting in the living room before her.
"Hey guys," Mandy sighed and flashed a smile as all three faces turned to her, before she turned to put her folder on the table and hang up her coat, "Did y'all have a good day? Anyone else here?"
Mandy turned when there was no response straight away and saw the boys' all had the same, awestruck expression' on their faces.
"What happened? Did Abi and Hana protest in front of that sweet shop again and get caught on the news?" Mandy looked a little humoured but also worried as the expression' didn't desist, "Ok, seriously? What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that? You're giving me the creeps." Mandy walked around the men and went to move to the kitchen to grab a drink, but was stopped as Jareth leapt up and quickly grabbed her hand.
"No, no! Let me! Do you want water? A cola? Fruit Juice?" He said in one breath as he looked deep in her eyes and got within her 'personal space'.
"Jareth…back off a little please," Mandy stepped back and glared at him, "and that's not funny. You know we're only just on good speaking terms."
Jareth sighed heavily and didn't relinquish the hold on her hand.
"I can always go to the supermarket and get you the drink you want," Akabane' voice chimed in a lot closer from behind than Mandy expected and she jumped, "I wouldn't mind, really."
She half-turned to see him standing behind her, looking at her with a smile and that same look in his eye.
"Ok, very funny you two," she poked her head around Akabane and gazed at the male still seated, "Hans', come on, you're the sensible one and the muscle. A little help please."
Mandy sighed in relief as Hans' stood quickly and gave Akabane a gentle shove, allowing her a moment to relax.
"You heard her guys, stop your jokes," Hans' said confidently and placed a hand on her shoulder, "it's not funny and she's getting freaked out. You don't want to worry her beautiful face."
'Beautiful?! Ah crud…,' Mandy looked up to see him nod at her as if he was now her personal bodyguard.
"…Ok….so it's not a joke…what have you guys been drinking or eating?" Mandy managed to clamber away from them to shift around for some own space between the sofa and the table where they couldn't all fit in. They attempted to and Mandy was accidentally knocked onto her butt on the seat of the chair, Jareth sitting on the table in front of her, taking her hand and stroking it tenderly, whereas Akabane was at her side, reciting some of his favourite poetry (thankfully, not his own). Hans was currently mesmerized by simply playing with her hair.
Mandy heard footfalls on the stairs behind her and turned around, grateful to hear the voice of Kat as she sing-songed down the stairs.
"Kat! You wouldn't urm-…give me a hand, would you? I think we have a problem." The small distraction of the elder sister' name making the boys turn and giving Mandy the chance (which she took) to jump up and quickly scuttle behind Kat, whom looked confused and very suspicious at all three males.
"Alright…which one of you guys been messing with the voodoo magic? And if it's anything else but that I'm going to start-…Alright, who ate my cookies?!" Kat pointed her finger at them and stepped forward, glad when they retreated back a little in fear, knowing her skills weren't completely wasted on them.

An hour or so later…
Yaz rubbed her temples and paced back and forth, looking at the three, slightly guilty looking party on the sofa and being the official peacemaker between everyone.
"Ok so…Kat," Yaz said turning to the girl, "you made a batch of cookies which, basically, after widdling down the argument, was a potent love/lust desert?"
Kat went to argue but stilled and just nodded her head, realising their was no point in arguing and letting it go on for another hour.
"And you three," Yaz turned to the boys, "remember eating the cookies and suddenly -pardon if this sounds a bit sceptical- the sudden and miraculous realisation that you all shared when Mandy walked through the front door?"
She received three simultaneous nods and massaged the bridge of her nose, slightly annoyed.
"And then, when Johnn, her long-time boyfriend whom she loves, walked through the door and embraced her, you all challenged him to single, arm to arm combat?"
Another three (this time heavier) nods came from the boys and Yaz just gritted her teeth.
"And…you all think this is perfectly normal and there's nothing wrong with you?"
The boys all shook their heads and just watched as Yaz seemed to have something snap within her before she threw up her arms and turned away.
"I say we commit them to a loony bin! All falling in love for no reason, pfft! No offence Mand'." Yaz touched her sister' arm apologetically as she passed, making her way to the stairs and having enough of the foolishness she had just seen.
"None taken." Mandy smiled and sighed, turning back as her three admirers all waved in their own little unique way to her.
"I can kinda' see why they would, it's not hard to fall in love with you." Johnn offered with a small, sympathetic smile and Mandy patted him lightly on the hand.
"Not now sweetie, you can flatter me later when we get this sorted out."
Kat' loud 'AHA!' from the kitchen and a sudden bang as the book fell from her arms onto the table in front made everyone jump and turn to look at her as she grinned triumphantly.
"Found the page."
"Good!" Ripki walked forwards and poked her nose over the counter, "What does it say?"
"According to this," Kat pointed and drew her finger along he lines as she read it out, "the only things that will help are… 'Patience and time', which we do not have; 'The Antidote ingredients as listed below', which I did already have a look for and they'll take about a month or so to order; And 'A sudden shock or traumatic experience to the recipients system, such as a loved one in deep emotion distress or physical harm to ones self'…Hey guys, I think this book is actually condoning violence against the boys…and for once, I'm going to actually agree."
"Yippee!" Jessica wasted no time and stood up instantly, walking straight forward to the sofa and slapping the one male on the sofa she'd intended to slap.
Jareth looked shocked and quickly grabbed his reddened cheek (though to be fair, it was a tiny slap) in horror.
"Hey! Why did you slap him instead of Akabane?!" Abi stood quickly and protested on Jareth' behalf (well someone had to).
"Ya' kidding me? I'll never get this opportunity again!" She leant forward and gave him another light slap, Jareth batting her hands away in time as she went in for another straight after.
"Physical violence against myself is not necessary! I'm not under the influence of any magical confectionary goods. My feelings for Mandy are real! I just don't know how long it took me to finally realise that." Jareth stood with his nose in the air, looking down at Jessica and not quite realising he wasn't helping his situation.
"…Ok, hit him one more time." Abi shrugged and said with no emotion.
"Yay!" Jess went in for another but was pulled back by Alex in the nick of time.
Abi choose this moment to take her place, but she instead began to step very close to him.
"And me? What do you believe your feelings for me where and are? And believe me Jareth, you will answer very," she got so close to his nose he lost balance in trying to get away and landed straight back down on the sofa, "very carefully."
"...Yes…well…I urm-" Jareth stuttered nervously, looking up at her and hoping she wouldn't kill him (or maim him horribly) when he was interrupted by a loud sigh.
"Easy lover boy, I wouldn't say anything until we try a few things out first. One man is enough for me and I DON'T want you three giving Johnn a hard time," she looked at Hana and Jess and nodded at them, "you two, I have an idea."
The girls gathered around in big circle, the three boys pondering their fates on the sofa when the circle separated and Jess and Hana both walked in front of the sofa, their hair obscuring their faces as they stood in front of either one of their partners.
"Hana." Hans looked at her curiously for a second, wondering when she'd let her hair down.
"Jess." Akabane kept his arms folded, but a little shift in his body showed how uncomfortable he was with the way Jessica was acting.
"We-we understand," Jessica began to talk in a small voice, "we know you guys don't want to be our boyfriends anymore."
"And, we know it must have been difficult but," Hana continued and let out a small sniff, still not showing her face just yet, "you two didn't have to do it this way."
The two boys let out similar gasps and their eyes went wide in horror as the girls raised their faces, both with tears streaming down their faces and small drops of blood pouring out of twin nostrils.
"You couldn't have just told me Hans? It-it really hurts. You said you'd never hurt me." Hana put her hands to her face and began to sob.
"And you Akabane, I trusted you. You-you're my first boyfriend and I thought-I thought I was special to you." Jessica turned away and put her hand over her mouth to cover her sob.
The two boys sprang up as if someone had pressed the spring activated devices to get them out of their seats.
"Hana," Hans wrapped his arms around the girl and pulled her into his body, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean any of it. Mandy is just a friend," he pulled away to look at her and gently stroked either side of her face, "it's you. It's always you. I'm sorry."
Akabane had gotten on his knees and was holding tightly onto Jessica' wrists.
"I beg your forgiveness. I-I don't even think I can apologise to you. Never, ever did I think I could hurt you and I've done it and I don't know what to say except…I'm sorry. Please Jessica, I'm so sorry," he stood up and gently kissed her on the lips, "I've caused you such grief and emotional distress…I've even made you have a nosebleed. I'm so sorry, please…please."
Jessica suddenly stopped sobbing and smiled at him.
"Actually, it's just some food dye that Kat had in the cupboard. Thought it might shock you enough. Was Hana' idea anyway, I just came up with rubbing onions under our eyes to make us cry." Jessica fanned at her wet eyes and gently wiped her nose when a tissue was handed to her.
"Worked though," Hana looked at Hans and petted him on the arm, "snapped you out of it. And don't go eating cookies before your told you again, understand? Or I'm going to have to shave you bald in the night."
Hans and Akabane both stood with their mouths open, only slightly shocked that their girlfriends would pull such a stunt.
Everyone slowly turned to Jareth who sat their, looking wickedly amused with a smug smile on his face.
Abi just sighed and strode forward, standing in front of him.
"I can't cry, Jareth knows I'd be acting."
Everyone gasped as she kneeled down on the sofa, either of her legs over his hips as she grabbed either side of his face, Jareth looking slightly worried.
"Sorry Jess!" Were the last words out of her mouth before she pressed it against Jareth's.
Whilst Kat and Mandy were trying not to laugh their assess off, Hana, Ripki (and even Alex) were holding back Jessica, who looked ready to throttle the sparkly man.
After a considerable amount of time, with just Abi kissing him and Jareth sitting there, taking it with his arms at either side of him, Abi pulled away, her hands on his chest and her face very red.
"…Well? Normal now?"
Jareth (who was not blushing at all), blinked a couple of times to get out of his stupor and quickly wrapped his arms around her waist.
"No." He pulled her suddenly forward and held her tightly against him as he kissed her thoroughly, Kat and Mandy now cackling loudly and not caring anymore as Jessica seemed positively murderous.

Upstairs…
Kat smiled and turned back around as she walked up the stairs, pleased that everything had now returned to normal. No one was in love with the wrong person and no one was trying to kill people (well, Jessica was, but that was normal).
"Alex, are you here?" She'd seen him disappear a while age and he had been gone for a little longer than usual. She just hoped he wasn't moody with her for her plan of experimenting with him.
She'd just turned into the hallway when a pair of arms looped around her and pulled her tightly against a familiar strong frame.
"And now Kitten…," the voice whispered in her ear before her head was tilted back far enough to allow access for him, "I'm going to prove to you I don't need any silly 'magic' cookies to make me want you all the more." He kissed her, only breaking the contact to pick her up and walk her towards their bedroom.
"You do that to me just by wiggling around the kitchen in that lovely apron of yours." He nuzzled against her ear, pleased with the heat he felt as her blush radiated from her cheeks.
What they didn't see as they disappeared into the room, was Mandy and Johnn waiting for them to go, before giggling and sneaking towards her room, tip-toeing ever so gently towards the door, before Johnn lifted her up and quickly smooched the life out of her.
"Definetely the only man for me." She giggled against his lips and threaded her fingers through his black, thick hair.
"I'd contend with an army of lovers to get to you. Always." He kicked the door closed with his feet and set about proving just how much he'd fight to prove his love.
Needless to say, that night was filled with the laughter downstairs as Abi grabbed a broom and almost poked a hole in the ceiling, yelling at the four occupying the two rooms upstairs to keep it down.

There's an army of lovers dying to meet you.
Dying to make your acquaintance.
It could be you or it could be me.
So don't let go,
because I need you so.

There's something about you baby,
I want to hold you tonight
